The beaches are spotlessly clean and the waters crystal-clear.
Save a small number of Sea Gypsy settlements the entire archipelago is uninhabited. Most of the diving is still of the exploratory kind but exciting new sites have already been discovered.
The outer edges of the dive area almost border on the famous Burma banks and the diving on, for example Black Rock and North & South Twin Islands, has proven to be at least as good as that on the famous Banks. Preliminary dives in and around the archipelago have so far yielded numerous species of sharks, schools of manta rays and a couple of seamounts which should be excellent for whalesharks .
The small life is rich enough to keep any macro photographer happy. It is excellent to dive virgin reefs teeming with life and there will be no other boat in sight. Overcrowding is certainly not an issue here! NOT FOR DIVERS ONLY!!!
